Join us for Youth Runaway
and Homelessness Awareness Walk on Nov. 17

November is Runaway and Homeless Youth Awareness Month. Join our community to help end homelessness.

Join Home Start, Promises2Kids, The San Diego LGBT Community Center, Urban Street Angels and San Diego Youth Services for our Youth Runaway and Homelessness Awareness Walk for a walk, resource fair and rally.

Please wear green, dress comfortably and wear walking shoes. The walk is about 3 miles long.

Central Walk

Date: Nov. 17

Time: 10 a.m. – noon

Starting location: 2220 Broadway, San Diego, CA 92012

Ending location: County Administration Building, 1600 Pacific Highway, San Diego, CA 92101

We will hold a rally against homelessness after the walk with speakers and free food.

East County Walk 

Date: Nov. 17

Time: 9 a.m. – noon

Starting location: Prescott Promenade, 200 E Main St., El Cajon, CA 92020

Ending location: 200 Civic Center Way, El Cajon, CA 92020

We will hold a rally against homelessness at 10:30 a.m. with speakers.
