San Diego Youth Services has helped more than 823,000 youth since our founding in 1970, including youth struggling with homelessness, family conflict, abuse and neglect, bullying, mental health concerns and substance abuse. Our services are available at 100+ community and school locations.

Free, 24/7 confidential service through the County of San Diego. (888) 724-7240. CHAT services are also available Monday through Friday (4pm-10pm)

Suicide Prevention

National Suicide Prevention Lifeline: 24/7 support for people in distress, prevention and crisis resources for you or your loved ones, and best practices for professionals. 

Child Abuse

National Child Abuse Hotline: Reports can be made 24/7.

Youth Crisis

California Youth Crisis Line: 24/7 statewide emergency line for youth (12-24) and families in crisis.

Emotional Support

California Peer-Run Warm Line: Free, 24/7 non-emergency emotional support and referrals. 

Sexual Assault

National Sexual Assault Hotline: 24/7 support from RAINN in partnership with more than 1,000 local sexual assault service providers across the county.

Domestic Violence

National Domestic Violence Hotline: 24/7 support through advocacy, safety planning, resources and hope to everyone affected by domestic violence. 

Human Traffficking

National Human Traffficking Hotline: 24/7 support for you or someone you know who is a victim of human trafficking.  You can also text “HELP” or “INFO” to 233733
