Resource Fair Draws 100+

More than 100 people attended our GROWS Resource Fair at the Central Library on Feb. 1.

Participants were able to meet with team members from San Diego Youth Services and more than 30 partner organizations from across San Diego County to learn about resources, services, employment and internship/volunteer opportunities.

Our GROWS (Greater Recruitment and Outreach for Workforce Success) program is designed to introduce people to careers in the public mental and behavioral health field.

Opportunities provided include free training for personal and career development, career shadowing within any of our programs, educational assistance and support via mentoring and up to $350 reimbursements on qualified expenses such as books, testing, college applications, certifications and tuition.
