Champions for Youth Donate $97,000

More than 235 individuals and businesses joined our 2018-2019 Champions for Youth campaign, donating $97,020 to help youth throughout San Diego. Farmers Insurance will also add to these generous donations with at least $55,000 as part of the campaign.

San Diego Youth Services is one of just 10 organizations selected to participate in this campaign with The Century Club of San Diego. The campaign started on Giving Tuesday, Nov. 28 and ended Jan. 27.

Champions for Youth is the primary charitable program of the PGA Tour, the Farmers Insurance Open.

Farmers Insurance, the title sponsor of the Farmers Insurance Open, has committed more than $800,000 to the tournament’s Champions for Youth program. The funds provide an annual bonus pool for participating charities based on dollars raised and the number of donors. San Diego Youth Services has participated in the campaign since its inception in 2012.
