The SDYS Elevate Program

San Diego Youth Services’ Elevate program (Engagement, Expressive Arts & Equity to End Incarceration) is part of the End Girls’ Incarceration initiative. Elevate’s goal is to reduce the barriers that lead to incarceration, facilitating expressive arts activities, goal-setting sessions, providing case-by-case financial assistance, and connecting our youth to supportive resources for career development, housing and mental health needs.

This program is for girls and gender expansive youth, aged 10-24, who are currently on probation or at the Youth Transition Center, formerly juvenile hall.

Meet our Elevate team! Jocelyn, Bianca, Nimsi and Alexis run our 1-on-1 mentorship program, which aims to decrease incarceration. Our mentorship services focus on healing, growth and workforce readiness.
