In March, Junior League of San Diego (JLSD) selected TAY Academy as one of its Community Impact projects. TAY Academy combines a drop-in center with structured learning and recreational opportunities for transition age youth (ages 16-24), including foster youth, former foster youth, out-of-home probation youth and homeless/runaway youth.
JLSD members repotted plants, provided a new patio set and cleaned the Oscar M. Memorial bed. Thank you JLSD for all your hard work!
JLSD is part of an international organization of women committed to promoting voluntarism, developing the potential of women, and improving the community through the effective action and leadership of trained volunteers.
