We are honored to be a Day for Change grant recipient for the fourth year!
The $6,000 grant will help us continue providing safe, affordable housing and comprehensive support services to Transition Age Youth (TAY) ages 16-25 who are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless.
San Diego Youth Services owns six transitional living communities for TAY in safe neighborhoods around the county. Residents are provided case management and other supportive services, including parenting classes and independent living skills.
Our TAY Academy is also a one-stop shop, combining a safe, inclusive, youth-led drop-in center with resources and services for TAY.
Founded by leading financial management professionals in San Diego County, Day for Change provides grants to local, non-profit organizations that effectively serve and benefit abused, neglected and disadvantaged children.
