Top Chocolatiers to Help San Diego’s At-Risk Youth

WHAT:

10 of the best Master Pastry Chefs and Chocolatiers in San Diego will join the 13th Annual Creations in Chocolate event this month to raise funds for homeless, abused and at-risk youth. Suzy Spafford, Illustrator and Creator of Suzy’s Zoo, will join the event as Special Guest, along with more than 250 corporate sponsors and guests.

WHY:

The annual gala benefits San Diego Youth Services. The event has now raised more than $1 million for homeless, runaway, abused and other at-risk youth and their families. Last year, San Diego Youth Services helped more than 23,000 youth and their families at 80 community locations.

HOW:

The Chefs design magnificent chocolate sculptures up to 3 feet in height and bring their best creations for guests to eat as part of the annual fundraiser. The event also features a youth speaking about their experience, a silent auction and an opportunity drawing.
