Jonathan Castillo is the Chief Executive Officer of San Diego Youth Services, where he leads efforts to provide housing, support and life-changing services to vulnerable youth. With a deep commitment to equity, Jonathan works to close systemic gaps and address the social determinants of health that affect marginalized communities. He believes early, personalized, and responsive care is essential to breaking cycles of poverty and homelessness. His leadership emphasizes sustainability, innovation and measurable outcomes, ensuring programs grow with lasting impact. Hanan brings over two decades of leadership in social impact organizations. Formerly Regional Director at PATH San Diego, she advanced equitable housing solutions for individuals and families experiencing homelessness. Known for her calm leadership and deep commitment to equity, Hanan has led large-scale operations, managed multimillion-dollar budgets and built cross-sector collaborations to strengthen systems of care. A board member of NAMI and the Regional Task Force on Homelessness, she continues to champion innovative, compassionate approaches that empower vulnerable youth and drive lasting community change.
Sammy Fosah
With 20+ years of experience in senior leadership and public accounting, Sammy brings vast experience in both the non-profit and for-profit spaces. Sammy works closely with operations to provide efficient financial management and understand the numbers behind the work, from job costing and revenue tracking to financial reporting and variance analysis. He’s hands-on when it comes to audits and compliance and brings practical experience across multiple accounting systems. Sammy believes finance should be clear, useful and forward-looking, supporting great decisions, sustainable growth and the people doing the work every day.

Kristen has held leadership positions in nonprofit organizations for more than 17 years and has been in the HR field for over 25 years. In her role, Kristen oversees all aspects of Human Resources, ensuring that the mission of SDYS is achieved and staff are supported through effective talent acquisition, employee relations, compensation & benefits, policy and procedure management and cultural development. Before joining SDYS, she served as the Vice President of Human Resources and Chief Diversity Officer for the Chesapeake Bay Foundation in Maryland.
